Grange Gardening Club is back!

We meet every Wednesday, offering a free lunchtime gardening club. We are currently taking eight pupils in total: two from each class per year per term.

Here are some of the things we’ve got up to in the autumn term:

Week 1: we sowed a wildflower meadow and also potted on some Woodland Trust trees.

Week 2: we planted daffodil bulbs in pots with children’s names on them and we also planted some crocus bulbs within the surrounding lawn area.

Week 3: we planted onions and garlic in the vegetable garden.

Week 4: we planted tulip bulbs inside pots with children’s names on them and cleared Autumn leaves.

All our bulbs and seeds have been kindly gifted to us, and we are always looking for things to plant and sow. If you have anything to donate, please leave it by main reception or contact us to discuss.

We’re always looking for more people to get involved, so get in touch if you’d like to get your hands dirty.

Let’s get Grange growing again!
